Default Upside to update!

I went to ToA after the update, and asked how the UW SC was happening since they nerfed essences. Some guy replies to me qqing about it. After about 5 minutes of QQing, he says hes going to quit GW because of it. If he is symbolic of all those who cant complete pve without cons, then this bonus has an unwritten effect.

Finally all the scrubs that cant do pve without cons, ursan, and cant do stuff except with shadow form arent gonna be able to do anything. Hence the population of guild wars is gonna shrink with less nubs plaguing the districts. This cannot be bad ...

Please, just dont stuff this up in next weeks update by making HM even easier or something like that.

With so many people raging - soon there won't be any left so A.net will be forced to give us all hero parties!
Hooray for A.Net's super dooper plan of chasing away players!
You go girls!

Unfortountly, I think your the only person that thinks this. GW dosnt have enough players in it- So we.... I can't beleive I'm saying this... but we need the scrubs and the noobs.. its what makes an economy an economy..

Having all the noobs/scrubs gone on GW would be like the states trying to get rid of all their blacks and mexicans, they are just apart of them now.

and this thread fails. if all the noobs quit then we have even less people to sell things to, and the economy will suck even more than it does now. people cry after every update about something. plus, did it ever occur that most people arent quitting because of one little change, its because of the changes that arent happening? most of the friends i knew from when i started playing quit because there's just nothing new. for a bit i stopped playing until the big skill update when they reworked a bunch of skills. its because there was finally something different about the game. people arent qq'ing about one little thing. its because theyre getting sick of guild wars in general.

pretty sure that was 12 characters

I'm just not seeing a downside to this nerf.

Everyone constantly QQs that PvE is soooooo very easy, then ANet fractionally nerf a consumable and everyone quits? Surely you got what you all wanted? it's slightly harder?

Perhaps everyone is crying because it wasn't nerfed hard enough?

Still not seeing that downside.

the nerf doesnt personally affect me, but when people want a harder pve, they arent referring to changing a thing or 2 to change farming tactics. we literally want tougher opponents

Not saying there isnt a downside, but seeing it as a good thing that the noobs and scrubs are gone just isnt enough.

Perhaps seeing it in this kind of a light "oh maybe the noobs will learn how to do missions and dungeons and actually play the game!" would be better.

Most people that Q_Q and say they are going to quit... dont actually do it

I prefer to see outposts filled with "noobs" than empty. I prefer to wait 30 min to enter jade arena or Aspy than 24 hours. Regardless why, the more people leavethe game the worse for it. I hope that more people did not leave thanks to the update than left because of it...

Agreed, why do we need two update threads when this is just collaboration of the other. Please merge them and put this silly OP down in the ranks where he belongs.

It scares me to think that there are people who only log on to grind.

It doesn't scare me that they're drama queens who threaten to leave GW every time they stub a toe - hell, we all know they're never going to! No, what actually scares me is that they at all log on when all they ever do is grind. I mean... why?

Why don't they get a freaking job at an assembly line: grind all day and get paid in real money!

Ok... really bad metaphor.

Anyway, the update doesn't affect me because I have simply never used^cons and I have always refused to do "speed clears". To those who are complaining and say they want to quit... Grow up please. Just quit silently.

You guys just reminded me why I stopped coming to this site.

The cons weren't used because people don't know how to play or to increase grind they were used to decrease the grind.

All you people who are happy about this are probably the same people who like always have been benefiting form it and want it changed now because everyone else is doing the same.

The people who get in on these things first are the first ones to ask for nerfs when others figure out what they have been doing.

It has happened with every farming build, area, and team.

If you guys don't want to use cons that is your choice. The only time I ever used them was for the speed clears, why to SPEED things up. Who wants to spend hours doing some thing once when you can do it 4 or 5 times in the same amount of time?

What I said killed the game stands, you guys talk about people QQing over this yet you constantly QQ over everything, we don't want cons, this skill is to this to that or not enough this, this is killing the economy. It is a game people.

Play it and let others enjoy how they like to play. What kills me the most is that Anet listens to you people, why I have no idea. All you do is piss and moan about everything.

If you don't believe me read through every post on this board.

I stand by my statement about what is killing this game and it is the community, Anet is cutting its own throat listening to your never ending whining about your never ending quest to remain elite.

Skill balance for PvP is one thing and there should be balance there, but in PvE and the laughable economy there that you guys forever try to keep a BS monopoly on get over it. Anets pandering to you people has time and time again taken away from the game. Yea they have given us special events, and other great things but that is just good business. This nerfing junk is all bad.

What I get from your post is that you guys want everything to yourselves.

GW community = epic fail.

Well A-Net has to think of something to do. There was enough content in thsi game to make most of your toons finish all 3 chapters and then the GW:EN.It is 3.5 years old now and some people have been playing 5 hours a day for that length of time. That is over 5,500 hours. That is enough time to become an electrician for the love of pete.

That said the content does not really change. We just figure out something that we like to do in some small part of the game and meet with others that enjoy doing the same thing over and over again.

Myself I love to stay in presearing cause nothing ever gets nurfed there. Things are the same and have stayed the same - except for the better like the Charr salvage kits and the charr bags. The economy is as strong as ever with people making new toons to run though pre to post.

So finds your neich and go out there and kill something

If a nerf to EoC forces people to quit because they can't speedclear anymore, I'm all for it.
